Hi!
Today I am reaching you from Selçuk. I'm here for a residency program. I can say that it is a working and sharing program for reading and writing in places we have determined. I will share it in more detail in the coming weeks, but E fes The things that caught my eye while visiting the Ancient City made me feel that we somehow reflected a place I had never been to before in our designs, so I would like to briefly explain why this place impressed me.
Ephesus The Ancient City is not known as a city built specifically by women, according to legends and findings. B.C. In stories dating back to the 6th century I actually knew that there were many different stories and legends about the founding and early history of Ephesus .
However, there are mythological stories or legends about warrior women communities such as Amazon women, and the legends depict the strength and warrior spirit of these women in the founding of this place.
As I enter and walk, the motifs impress me. As I progress, a simple flower pattern turns into huge structures, as if the continuous development of an embroidery. It feels good for me to see the motifs I love so much here and to reflect a history. I enjoy the moment as I walk rather than the history of this place. I recommend you to first experience what you feel in the places you visit.
